Heges Jazzballett ble grunnlagt i Tønsberg i 1980 av Hege Hesby Mejdell. Frem til 2003 drev Hege skolen alene. Idag er det 2 pedagoger i den daglige undervisningen.
Skolen eies og drives av Hege Hesby Mejdell, Caroline Steen Nygaard og Caroline Mejdell.
